  • Hi Gus, sorry you didn't see all the blog, but it's never major news anyway.
Today it was in the high 30s early but tonight it has dropped and is snowing. So far, it looks like about an inch out there, but we'll see by morning how much it really is. Mom and the girls walked before mom left for the museum today.
At the museum mom was lead docent, but one of the others had called off, so mom and another docent split her assignment to cover it. Mom's job today was to help recruit folks for the dinosaur tours that Georgia was giving, to give breaks to docents doing spotlights, and to walk around making sure signage was in the proper areas. With one person missing, though, she only got to give Jerry a break. He was doing T Rex, so that was fun! At 1, when mom relieved Jerry, she sent Georgia up to the Gaboon Viper for the spotlight. She went up there at a quarter to two so Georgia would have time to prepare for her last tour of the day. Mom talked not only about the viper, but about the birds in that case, as well as some of the savanna animals and the gorilla in the cases on either side. She also pointed out the leopard in the tree to lots of folks. It was a fun assignment. Mom will be back in African wildlife on Saturday when she has a spotlight on the fennec fox.
Mom took Jerry home after she was done, then stopped for light bulbs for the dining room before she got home. Once she was here, though, she was all ours.
I hope you had a good day, that you stayed warm, and had a lovely evening, too. Hugs and kisses, [] [] [] Falco
